As a Modern Work Virtualization Solution Area Specialist at Microsoft, you will lead the implementation and management of advanced virtualization solutions, leveraging Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.   • Customer Engagement:Collaborate with Customer Business Decision Makers (BDMs) to identify and develop new opportunities, fostering and expanding relationships with key business contacts.
  • Strategic Planning:Assess customer needs and orchestrate a virtual team to develop strategies that build a stakeholder network, accelerating and closing virtualization opportunities.
  • Opportunity Management:Lead the planning, orchestration, and execution of virtualization opportunities with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell solutions.
  • Thought Leadership:Engage in virtualization discussions with BDMs and Information Technology Decision Makers (ITDMs), sharing best practices and competitor insights.
  • Territory Management:Plan for accounts across territories, conduct competitive analysis, and manage virtualization solutions across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience:A minimum of 5+ years in technology-related sales or account management. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Proficiency:Experience with virtualization and/or Windows 365 solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Experience:7+ years in technology-related sales or account management. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Sales Expertise:4+ years in solution or services sales.
