Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely, courteous manner.
- Provide information on products, services, and policies with accuracy and clarity.
- Issue Resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or service-related issues.
- Escalate complex problems to the appropriate team or supervisor as necessary.
- Data Management
- Document call details, customer interactions, and any action taken using the company’s CRM system.
- Update customer information and maintain accurate, organized records.
- Quality & Efficiency
- Adhere to company guidelines and scripts while personalizing each call to meet the customer’s needs.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to share insights and improve processes.
- Attend virtual training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new products, policies, or tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Location Requirement: Must be a resident of New York (proof of residency may be required).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or related field strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, email, and chat tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure, identify issues quickly, and propose effective solutions.
- Work Environment: Quiet, dedicated workspace with a reliable internet connection.
- Flexibility: Availability to work varying shifts (including evenings or weekends) if needed.
