PARTNER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 

  • 1 – STRONG VENTURE CAPITAL Investment Track Record (at least 5-10 years) in US-based Climate Ventures at PRE-SEED TO SERIES B that can be evidenced/disclosed in a deal sheet during interview process including any successful venture exits and ROI.
  • 2 – CLIMATE SECTOR INNOVATION & INVESTMENT EXPERTISE that is relevant to Maroon’s Investment Thesis … specifically … in Blue Economy (Ocean/Marine), Built Environment, or direct Climate Impact on Health….. NOT as relevant? is generic sustainability, impact, ESG, energy experience.
  • 3 – ENTREPRENEURIAL Experience and/or Track Record e. this is essential as Maroon is still an early-stage venture so your experience being successful in an entrepreneurial environment is relevant
  • 4 – ACTIVE ANGEL INVESTORor team member of active Family Office – i.e. experience deploying your own capital aligned with your own investment thesis that you are passionate about!
  • 5 – You are “PARTNER-READY”

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

  • Title:Venture Partner or Partner or General Partner
  • Start Date: Jan / Feb 2025
  • Time Allocation: PART TIME(Monday to Wednesday) OR FULL TIME (Monday to Friday) – Full Time is preferred
  • USA Location: Remote, however currently working in the USA and strong plus if in New York Tri-State area. Please do not apply if you are have not been working in the US for past few years

PARTNER REMUNERATION

  • Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Equity 
  • Please note that this is a typical “Partner” role and long-term commitmentfor an experienced Venture Capital investor, entrepreneurial with an emerging fund manager of very experienced investors (avg. 15-20 years experience each, second-time GP, etc).
  • As a potential Partner, the majority of your overall remuneration is driven by fund performance and your equity participation. Therefore, if you are simply looking for a “job”or to be an “employee” this may not be relevant for you :-)=
