Job Summary:
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Conference Planner to join our team. This remote role offers the opportunity to work from home while planning, coordinating, and executing virtual conferences and events for our clients. As a Virtual Conference Planner, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of virtual events, from initial planning to post-event follow-up, ensuring the smooth operation of online conferences and virtual meetings. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional, high-quality virtual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual conferences, webinars, and events from start to finish.
- Collaborate with clients to understand event objectives, budget constraints, and audience needs.
- Research and select virtual event platforms, tools, and software.
- Manage event timelines, logistics, and resources to ensure events are executed flawlessly.
- Coordinate with speakers, moderators, and panelists to ensure proper preparation and involvement.
- Oversee the development of event content, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Ensure seamless technical setup and troubleshooting of virtual platforms during events.
- Track and analyze event performance, collecting feedback and providing reports to clients for continuous improvement.
- Handle post-event follow-up, including surveys, thank-you emails, and data collection.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning or project management, particularly in virtual or hybrid events.
- Strong understanding of virtual event platforms (Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to handle pressure and adapt to changing client needs or event requirements.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and promotional strategies for virtual events.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in software and tools related to virtual conferencing and event management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to potential issues.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event planning, conference coordination, or project management.
- Experience working with virtual event platforms and managing online conferences.
- Background in managing both large-scale and small-scale events is preferred.
- Previous experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, remote position.
- Flexible working hours with the ability to work across different time zones as needed.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate client schedules and event timings.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of event planning and project management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of virtual conferencing platforms, event tools, and tech solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to anticipate client needs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks.
- Skilled in working with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute seamless events.
